The beginning of the present.

Writing this blog is very dangerous for me now. Women of this time and age can not read or write at all....if some one were to come in right now I'd be in tons of trouble. However, I'm willing to take the chance to tell you, my reader, about what actually is happening in the new United States of America.

So dear reader,

This change in government all started when these Muslim terrorist came in and machine gunned the senate and the president of the time. Everything was extremely disorganized after that, and the step in government made the excuse that we didn't have to have a new election yet. So we never got another senate or president democratically. With the government in rubbles, things started to get out of hand. We experienced several bombings and several murders and mysterious disappearances. At this time my little girl was in kindergarten and I was very frighten that she would just disappear like a few other children had. This time was very scary to live in. We had freedom to do anything back then, but soon things changed.

One day and I remember it well, I was walking to work and stopped by my favorite little stand that was run by this woman who had my Compucard number memorized. The lady was not there for some reason and was replaced by this young man who wasn’t really that friendly. When I tried to buy my cigarettes using my Compucard, it didn’t work. (so you know Compucards are like credit cards) The man handed back and I walked away frustrated and smokeless. My thoughts were I could get a ciggie from one of the other girls and call the stupid Compucard company, those new damn-fangled inventions! When I called I received a recording that said the lines were overloaded. Oh well! I decided I better get started on my work, but just then the man in charge came in. My boss said all of us were let go. He also said it was the law, and that if we don’t leave, the army with machine guns were going to come in and make us leave. Wait a minute aren’t they supposed to protect us, not harm us? Seeing the army, I fled as fast as I could without sprinting my way home.

Once at home I tried everything to relax myself it didn’t work that well. I called the Compucard and got the same recording. Than I tried my mother and my best friend Moria. Neither of them picked up. I was getting very anxious at that point and tried Moria again. This time she answered and was over at my house in a matter of moments. Once here, Moria reported to me that every Compucard account with an F on it was frozen. Apparently, women can’t hold any property anymore so all our cash has been giving to the next male kin.

After our little chat I went and picked up my daughter from school; and shortly after, Luke, my husband came home. I started sobbing about the frozen accounts and Luke comforted me by saying he’d always be there for me.

Soon we decided we had to leave the United States and head to Canada. We got the fake passports and fake visa and faked that we were just going for a day trip. However, we were caught and we tried to run away. My daughter and I were caught together. I heard shots in the distance.
